"Aren't you a little old for that?" your friend's voice cut through your concentration as you tried to carefully stack the cards in front of you into a precarious pyramid. You glanced up at her and rolled your eyes before you slid the next card into position. The red patterned backs mixed with the numbered sides. You sat back in your chair to pull another card from the box. After an hour of painstaking concentration, you were finally almost done. Stacking cards is something that's very hard to do.
You looked at her and shook your head, "No way."
Your friend narrowed her (e/c) eyes at you and sipped her coffee, "Look _______, I just think that you should get hooked into reality, alright? We're seniors in high school and you're about to turn 18. I think it's time you stopped believing in things like the Easter Bunny and Santa."
"You're never too old to believe," you responded stubbornly. "Besides, I have a twelve year old sister, a six year old brother, and a three month old younger brother as well."
"What does that have to do with your idiosyncratic belief in creatures of myth?"
"Legend," you corrected, placing a card in its correct spot, "Creatures of legend. Oh, and I think you misused the word "idiosyncratic". That refers to something that is out of the ordinary."
"Well, I think that you're pretty idiosyncratic, if I do say so myself."
"And you're pretty phlegmatic."
Your friend put on a face of utter offense. You added drily, "No offense, of course."
She sneered at you, "None taken, obviously."
The two of you then started to laugh. You stacked another card. Your friend shook her head, "Anyways, back to the topic at hand: Why do you believe in those silly wise tales?"
"Just like you said, they're wise," you remarked before beginning again, "think of it this way –growing up, I was as skeptical as you could probably get."
Your friend raised her drink, "Here, here."
"I came up with loads of reasons why Santa actually existed –we even tested them all out and slept with our parents. So, as you know, they didn't get up to put the presents out that year. Also, we saw the sleigh. Therefore, Santa exists."
"And what about the others?"
"Well, personally, I don't have a lot for the Sandman –it's kind of hard to prove. The Easter Bunny is hard to prove as well, other than the fact that my dad would have never gone out and placed that many eggs out in the yard. The Tooth Fairy, well, I've never found any of my old teeth, so I assume that she's real as well, I guess."
"And what about Jack Frost? Do you believe in him?" your friend questioned you.
"Of course," you answered indifferently, "Jack Frost is the cause of everything."
You looked at her and shook your head, "No way."

Snowflakes (Jack Frost x Reader)
There were days where Jack followed humans around.
Sometimes, it was because he was curious.
Sometimes, it was because of his guardian duties.
This time, it was for a reason he could not fully grasp.
He thought about asking the others about it, but decided against it.
He was afraid they would not understand.
So, he pondered what it could be on his own.
He was definitely curious.
It was not, however, part of his duties to watch this human.
After all, this person was not a child.
Standing on a rooftop, gripping his staff, he smiled to himself.
"Wind, you know where to take me."
The wind came and within moments, he flew.
He turned i

"Really..another snow day.."
You sighed and slumped back into your chair and held your knees against your chest. This had been the third snow day in a row, and so far you weren't enjoying it. A few days before you had gotten the flu, and could not attend the skiing and skating trip your friends, and the rest of the school were doing. Now they were stuck up there due to the weather-but it obviously wasn't a problem since they had eachother and all the free time to ski and skate-while you were stuck back at home with no friends to hang out with-within your range anyway-and your parents were working away at solving what to do about the leaks in

A Frozen Memory 3 Jack FrostxReader
Crouched on your bed was thee Jack Frost. Your eyes wander over him, making sure this was real. He just gave you the same goofy smile. A really beautiful smile actually.. But finally it hits you. Why in the world was this guy in your house? And how did he get in here? You couldnt help but to scream, a natural reaction. Jack tried calming you down. He put his cold hand to your mouth; You relaxed with his touch. He chuckled slightly as he stared at you. You stretch again and get up from your cozy bed.
"Hey Jack?" you blurted out. He looked up at you eagerly.
"Could you-ah- maybe l-leave for a second?" you asked polietly. His face looked l

Holy cannoli... another series? What have I gotten myself into... *sigh* Oh well, can't be helped. I have some many ideas -luckily, they all get written down at some point. I also have another reader insert for Jack planned out in my mind -it's cutesy! -and that'll probably be a oneshot. Maybe. Or a miniseries. Expect long chapter(s) for that one.
But yes, this is my first Rise of the Guardians reader insert -I'm branching out, away from the Hetalia verse! Woot! So, read, enjoy, and I hope you liked the prologue. The next part should be out fairly soon. However, I need to finish up a request before I can devote myself to this story. Wait patiently, dear readers, because it shouldn't be too long.
